After "Sugary and Dry", released, in 2007 that led her particular brand of folk music much further than the Swiss border (France, Germany, Belgium, Scandinavia Netherlands, as headline or support for Joe Cocker, Marianne Faithfull, Alain Bashung, Paul Simon, Donovan, Nouvelle Vague,…).
Olivia Pedroli, alias Lole travelled to Reykjavik, in Iceland, in order to work on her 3rd album. It has been recorded, mixed and produced by Valgeir Sigurðsson, icelandic musician and producer, founder of the label Bedroom Community and well known for his collaborations with Björk, Camille, CocoRosie, Bonnie Prince Billie…
This new production will be released in Switzerland in September 2010 under her real name, Olivia Pedroli, affirming trustfully the evolution of her compositions and voice towards more personal and enchanting horizons.
Before the official tour, Olivia Pedroli will propose on the 14th of April 2010 at the Cully Jazz Festival in Switzerland a special creation that will gather some of the musicians that took part in her new album's recording.
On stage:
Olivia Pedroli (CH) - vocal, guitar, piano, violin
Valgeir Sigurðsson (IS) - programming, Rhodes, percussion
Helgi Hrafn Jonsson (IS) - singer and trombonist who's worked with Sigur Ros, and Damien Rice
Jean-François Assy (BE) - cellist for the French musicians Alain Bashung, Yann Tiersen or Miossec
This ensemble will be completed by 3 Swiss artists:
Stéphane Blok (CH) - piano, marimba
Patricia Bosshard (CH) - violin
Denis Corboz (CH) - trumpet, flugelhorn
